Wonderfully directed movie. When the acting, the casting, the story and the music are all just perfect, it has to be the director. Kiran Rao has proved her mastery yet again. The story’s simple, but the acting…. Chef’s kiss… is so spot on! Everyone acts just right, from the leads to the policeman, to the tea stall lady. The locales, the sets and the ending.. all perfect.

Couldn't watch more than half... Terrible acting, terrible story, terrible direction. Vijay was playing Vijay... Story made no sense, I guess it's basically that.. poor story and poor direction... Don't waste your time...

Stallone, he can actually act.. and he acts so well. This isn't Rambo, this is so much better. Well written, well acted, I really enjoyed this!

The entire cast has done a great job. With Abishek Bacchan really entering role of jailed CM of the fictional Hariyali Pradesh. When the entire cast does a stellar role, the director has to be the prime mover. There are many social messages, mainly the importance of education. Bacchan has more than proved his legendary lineage with his stellar performance. The supporting cast are also almost at his level. This is a very enjoyable watch, and quite moving too. Well worth the time!

Gratituous Gore. Poor direction. Non existent story with a confusing message. Prithviraj acts well as usual, Acting is good, but any level of acting can't counter a story that leads nowhere... If you don't like blood and incomprehensible movies, you should skip this one... It's definitely not light entertainment, that's for sure...

Well written, plausible, well-acted and well-directed No inappropriate scenes and can be watched by the entire family Editing also well done and one does not get bored by the movie The movie is an interesting take on what happens when a stars biggest fan has a change in heart And this is not commonly seen on screen Definitely worth your time and money

I have never walked out of a Suriya movie before. I couldn’t take this one and walked out after the ludicrous screen of Suriya being “ arrested “ for holding a knife that kills his friend, oh, it’s terrible, it so illogical, it can give you a stomach ache- you see the friend wants him to kill him as he is terminally ill and use his death to blame the opposition party and..... uh, I give up, its total bollocks! The story is non existent and the characters and characterization are totally unbelievable The direction has to be blamed, and I can’t believe it can be directed so badly by such a vaunted director! The main problem is the total lack of a coherent story Please avoid this! You’ll thank me if you save this for the small screen Abysmal!
