I have enjoyed the whole series, and just watched the final episode tonight. I personally didn't mind which couple won, as long as it wasn't those two very catty and always wanting more of the money and space than they were entitled to sisters.

I am in New Zealand and up to episode 4. I really look forward to each Sunday night to watch this. It seemed to be set in the Netherlands and Belgium as the houses looked different from the UK. The first episodes were the best,before the black market made the story a bit confusing. Aww

Apart from loving the series, the courtesy, politeness, tidy, neat dress, and lack of f words is really my cup of tea. I was around in those days, but don't remember everyone being quite so "virtuous" for want of a better word, although we always called anyone over thirty by their title, not their Christian name. One of my don't miss Sunday evening programmes. From NZ.

Not a review, but a thank you to these reviewers from someone almost totally DEAF who couldn't figure out the salient points of this rather melancholy film. After reading these reviews I now understand what I have just watched. Worth watching, but rather morbid.
