This movie started out with an amazing idea, and it held on to that premise for about half of the movie. Unfortunately, it dropped the ball after that.
It had a delicate balance between silliness and introspective depth, but the latter half felt rushed and cheesy. I'm just disappointed that they threw away the massive potential they built up.
I would recommend watching it, but only if you have time to spare. The ending probably won't leave you satisfied, because they abandoned character depth in order to manufacture a cookie-cutter ending.
For those reasons, I put this film at 3.5/5
