This game is incredibly fun. The battles are time consuming and difficult in a good way; I mean, who wants a game that’s too easy? There is a LOT of strategy to this game and there are many things to pay attention to during battles, but after my first two hours of gameplay I got the hang of it. The graphics are beautiful and the tutorial is thorough. People saying the game is too hard or confusing would probably struggle playing Pokémon (battle tactics and type-matchups to remember) or Pikmin (puzzles, small tasks, and time consuming). If you want a fast paced game that’s impossible to lose and takes zero strategy then Empire of the Ants ain’t for you.
