I don’t understand the hate for this movie. I haven’t read the books and like any dystopian book to move adaptation or book to movie adaptation in general, I’m sure there are some discrepancies and disappointments. But as a movie it is really good. I’m disappointed that Lionsgate didn’t make the final movie of the series.

It was a beautiful rom-com, very well done.

I know that the critics rated this movie really poorly, however, having watched it twice, I really enjoyed this movie! I haven't seen the stage version, so I don't have that to compare it to that, that being said, I'm familiar with the music and the plot and really enjoyed the way they depicted it. There were a lot of complaints about Ben Platt's age but I really can't imagine a better Evan Hansen and the whole cast did incredibly.
