I believe that this film marks a significant return for Ryan, following his previous work. Despite this, I found the film to be thoroughly enjoyable. It begins with a strong romantic element but quickly transitions into a fast-paced action movie. The film also includes genuine moments of humor. Overall, I consider this to be a unique addition to its genre.

I think the wit from the actors, especially Chris pine, carries the film quite well. There are strong action scenes for a fantasy film. As someone who has no knowledge of dungeons & dragons, I enjoyed the film, but I'm not sure it really centred around its traditional theme in its entirety. I did enjoy the film and I do recommend the watch. A good balance of humour and action with a decent, and in some places a predictable storyline. The storyline is good, you're able to follow it and it keeps you engaged. No spoilers from me, enjoy the watch :)
