Robert Harris book adapted for the screen with wonderful filming and marvellous acting performances from Fiennes, Tucci, and Lithgow. A thriller held together by expert cinematography, a tight script, and good direction. The final touches are down to the close ups of the actors faces, particularly Fiennes whose face carries every nuance of the plots twists and turns as he wrestles with his own faith and duty.
