The expert's try to hold this series together, but the narration is far too broad with some perplexing exclusions and a bit of modern revisionism and invention.
As for the reenactments, it is wanting. Not a single phalanx advance, the armor looks wrong (no linothorax?), and so much sword fighting you'd think it was Game of Thrones.
