I’ll never understand why people are so critical. I guess it makes them feel more important. My kids were very young when the cartoon was out and we are huge fans. I must say as a 52 year old man I was far too giddy as I watched this series. Of course they didn’t follow the cartoon exactly, what adaptation ever has? But they stayed true to the cartoon and its characters. I personally couldn’t have more pleased. I’m extremely excited for season 2 and hope they include the Appa kidnapping because Ang’s emotional reaction is one of my favorite scenes. But most of all I hope to see one of my favorite characters of all, “The Boulder”.
