Not worth your while, it will just irritate and frustrate you, these characters/the victims are so wet and insipid they'd drive anyone to murder so by the time things heat up you're like, hurry up and get it over with. James McAvoy is good of course but should have waited to watch it on streaming. I really didn't see the point of this film. James McAvoy 4 stars The film itself: 2 stars

Everyone should see this one! Beautiful, heartbreaking and hilarious, the use of music is unique and something I've never seen before in a movie, cannot wait to see it again. Liquorice Pizza, meets An Officer & a Gentleman meets The Colour Purple meets Elaine Constantine The Face circa 2000. My Spotify has been updated and I'll probably never eat chicken again but that's not a bad thing. 'I am, I said to no one there...' Louise Brealy cry singing Neil Diamond in that car on her way to a night shift at the chicken factory is something to see. Wonderful

I'm still here trying to figure it out 2 weeks later. It's 3 hours long and packed full of weird and wonderfull scenarios a wild imagination is at work here so it's a wild ride for sure, hat off to Ari Aster. But if you stick with it you will see things never before witnessed on film. Not for the faint hearted nor the anxious type. Joaquin Phoenix was brilliant and looks exactly how I felt throughout the movie. Bewildered. But you should go and give it a watch because a person came up with this and put it all together with incredible skill and a crazy vision and I paid to see in at the Picture House in Finsbury Park 2 weeks ago on a Monday afternoon on my day off and I've been thinking about it every single day ever since so... Gave it 4 stars because well it could be a one star or an eight star movie so I went down the middle.
