First, I must say that Angela Bassett is amazingly ageless, and never seems to lose her groove on the big screen. She is a treasure.
I felt like The Late-Great Chadwick Boseman was still very much a part of this film as I watched it last night. The crew and writers made sure his spirit was felt throughout the movie, and set to carry into it's trilogy.
What I liked most about the film is that there was no over the top theatrics, there was a sense of respect amongst enemies, and BP Wankanda Forever is very family friendly.
Even the children in the theater were as quiet as a mouse as the end unfolded. Do not leave the theater till the very end.
Happy Early Heavenly Birthday Mr. Chadwick Bosemanโค๏ธ
I just notice some saying the film is racist, but many super hero films, sitcoms etc have been predominantly white for ages. Blade broke ground on this francise and the franchise should have a predominantly black-casted movie. Stop hating and enjoy the film.
