I wanted to really like this show. I thought the overall story was good but it was too much about one topic. Every character was gay and that was the only topic ever talked about. I donโt mind that storyline being told but the whole world was not gay at that point in history. Why take such a great classic movie about the struggles of women and make it all about gay women? All women struggled to be seen then and now and I would like to see a more well-rounded representation of that storyline.
