I found the acting to be uninspiring, the CGI special effects to be very poor, and the use of the Phoenix to be very gimmicky. While I actually applaud Disney's effort to charge $29 for a movie in this new world we live in, this was a really bad example to take a lead with. This is a $2.99 movie, and then you kind of wish you had your $2.99 back.
