The book is a nice read. The author is brave enough to feed the public on all that she has endured as a woman cum a lost daughter who struggled throughout her existence to know the identity of her father.
Yvonne, in her book, teaches me what it means to be resilient, to be a goal-getter and how to ignore and give less regard to societies' expectations in order to make it in life.
Her writing technique amazes me the most. I'm made to believe that this is not the first time she has authored a book. She is the Chinua Achebe version among the female writers, having the boldness and commanding influence to write with the aim of correcting the wrongs and ill concepts in societies through writing makes her stand aloft from all the female writers I have interacted with through their writings.
