The lead character seems shallow, self centered and not much depth.
I cannot fathom why some writers waste words writing about people’s jaws “flexing, hardening, twitching” extensively.
Lots of non sensical sentences taking up space in the book.
The magical asset had by Elle is interesting.
It could have been a much well written series of novels had the writer taken more time to develop the characters.
