Grimm: a fantastic idea that was poorly executed. It was obvious from early days that we have a shoe that the writers had no plan for. Instead they maintained a "make it up as we go" formula. Resulting in half finished, poorly framed, and forgotten story arcs. Overall stories were painfully weak. And there was very little attempt to fix it. The enjoyable parts of police officer mysteries was also destroyed by the quickly devolving soap opera direction. What should've been an interesting combination of murder mysteries, buddy companionship and changing of Grimm culture and traditions became nothing more than petty soap opera with bad CGI (oooh did I mentioned the CGI. Somewhere along the line they decided to ditch the cool looking prosthetics and go with B grade special effects) What may have been a solid and decent program became so much less due to poor planning that follows "ratings" rather than an actual story.
