Absolutely amazing movie, a must watch. Watched this a while ago with some friends and we came out sobbing, all emotional. The plot twists were amazing, and the storyline was clear and understandable for the audience. The comedic elements added helped lighten the mood after a bunch of sad and emotional scenes. And the "dream" concept within the movie helped depict each character's personality clearly. The sudden twists is what really gripped some of the audience's hearts and what tore me apart. The movie is an entire roller coaster of emotions. Within the main protagonist's (Tanjiro's) dream, it really shows how much he has grown, and his determination won't allow him to give up, a really touching scene. During the fight scenes, the animation was so fluid and detailed. The backgrounds, and scenery outside the train setting were so beautiful and detailed. Some CGI elements were in some parts of the movie, but not too heavily. The sound tracks that played helped fit the scene really well and gave you different feelings from eerie to the adrenaline while watching the fight scenes. The blinking lights that show at the start of the movie really takes into effect, giving the audience an uneasy feeling. Obviously implying that something bad is about to happen. In conclusion, it's an absolute masterpiece.
