The movie wasnโt terrible, but It definitely left a weird impression on me. For one, they made April look like Velma from HBO and Splinter seemed less like a master ninja and more like the weird middle eastern guy you see working in the back of a deli. And the turtles wanting to be normal kids going to school kinda defeats the purpose of being ninjas. For me, the movie was a bit underwhelming and not what I expected.
