Unbelievable and awful to the point of laughter- laughter that I actually spent good money to see it. Who in their right mind decided this film was worthy a single golden globe much less 5. The scenes are choppy and stories are not finished. And good lord, what’s with the fish-eye lens. Colman, who plays Queen Ann actually does a good acting job. And that’s the only good thing I can say. Oh and you do get one shot of Emma Stones breast if you like that kind of thing. I’m a lover of historical fiction and period pieces and feel offended.

I could not wait to get out of the theater. A waste of beautiful cinemaphotography on a plotless movie. Painfully long, mixed up story lines - good vs evil or really evil vs. Jake Sully and anyone that gets in the way. And how can the memories of one guy cause an entire human race to hate one guy who is just trying raise a famiy on a different planet? Let him alone for goodness sake; then hunting whale brains to stop aging - where did that come from. So much for caring for the environment. Let's just kill whales because it's make believe, it's ok. The script written as if it's some B movie. The story is dark and if I were a US Marine, I would be angry that they portrayed a Marine in that light - evil and angry, and all over one guy, Jake Sully. There are some very beautiful scenes with the Ney'tiri characters especially in the water, otherwise I would have given it 1 star. I know I'm in the minority but have no idea why. I even read some of the 5 star ratings. I honestly don't get it.
