Great movie if you are a 9 year-old. Screenplay was painful, sound track was composed by someone that didn't see the movie, and the "rapport" between Sandra Bullock and Brad Pitt was very contrived. A terrible movie from the very 1st scene.

My lady friend cannot understand how much I despise, loath, hate and want to scream every time she wants me to see "another great act!" I spent too much time in Europe, where people take a lifetime getting ready for their greatest moment and the audience has the civility and common decency to sit and watch and hear their presentation THEN they applaud! With this moronic program the contestant is giving the best performance of their life and in the MIDDLE of their most beautiful aria or string presentation the audience stands up and cheers; all the time looking for the camera, "Am I on TV now, please, please???" I would rather watch 5th reruns of Green Acres than 1 moronic episode of this testimonial to the English millionaire with the $ 9 T-shirt!
