Overwatch 2 feels more like a big update than a brand new sequel.
Graphics:
The graphics are relatively good. However, in some places the graphics are blurred or have less detail than on other models or locations. In Overwatch 1, most/all graphics and textures had the same quality across the board.
Gameplay:
The game is fun! Actually, I feel I am having more fun with Overwatch 2 than Overwatch 1. It is now, 5v5 instead of 6v6. So the gameplay is faster and fights end quicker.
Microtransactions and Price:
The game is Free-to-Play, which for most games like Warzone, works very well. In Overwatch 2, I feel as if alot of content is locked, or just isn't available from the start. In Overwatch 1, I paid 60$ to pre-order the game, and roughly another 60$ for about 70-100 lootboxes. Overwatch 1 had great progression and unlockables.
In Overwatch 2, alot of the content is impossible to get. Sprays, emotes, victory poses are locked behind some kind payment system, that I believe uses Overwatch Coins. However, I got discouraged from buying anything as most common skins ranged from 5$ to 20$ for legendary skins. Buying 3 legendary skins is basically paying full price for the game, and with no natural progression whatsoever.
There is a 10$ battle pass, which is nice, but I think 40$ will be the maximum I pay for this game in its life time.
Overall, I give the game 1/5. Not worth the price tag.
