I haven’t seen this for so long. First time I watched it was in the IMAX, upper west side, Manhattan, New York, when I was living there. At the end of the movie everyone was still sat in their seats in silence, it was so moving and it affected you so much. ... based on a true story but portrayed in such a way that it told its story mostly through the two characters, Sean Penn & Susan Sarandon. All the cast in this movie held your attention. The Soundtrack was amazing with my favourite Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam, Ali Khan, Bruce Springsteen and more. I bought the soundtrack.. This movie is still so powerful even after all the times I’ve seen it, spanning over the years! Everyone who had a part in this new exactly what they were doing. Although a horrible tale, the movie for me is up there with The Godfather trilogy (pt.2 being the best), Sleepers, Heat and Shawshank Redemption as an all time favourite
