It's illogical, overly dramatic and the part where they solve a different crime in each episode is anything but thrilling. Comedy and crime can never go hand in hand and this series is the proof of it. The one star is for seasons 4 and 5 (from where it actually started to make some sense). And it also takes certain extremely serious and sensitive matters very very very lightly. (Example? Well, that one that time when Maze went bounty hunting in Canada, she literally forced herself on the inn manager. What if the roles were reversed? And, like the time when Ella took the psychological problems of a serial killer to be "just some mommy issues". There are literally books and books written on how traumatic abuses from a person's childhood can be! It's a very sensitive topic and the writers just choose to ignore that and depict it as some kind of mommy issues? Seriously? And there are lots of other examples.)
