This movie has it all ... lovable dogs ... awesome racing cars ... romance .. some great one liners ... Zoe (young and older) the evil twins (but thankfully my fave Kathy Baker restores my faith in humanity and family) .. and pain only life can deliver to us to make us stronger ... great friends and a lot of Canadian Film involvement plus plenty of good soundtrack music. The bottom line ... the movie is truly believable .. we can see it .. feel it and many of us have lived it. Definitely a 5+ star rating.

This movie has it all ... comedy .. drama .. romance .. an old fart ... a youngster who is sharp as a tack .. an old retired police dog and one pretty beat up RV.. Plus a couple of great Christmas Carols. Watched it twice in one day ... wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything.

A really true to life story that probably happens more often than we can imagine. The characters are all well played. Watched it 4 times so far. My Mom was a single parent raising 2 rambunctious boys. Must have been tough back in the 50's.
