I stepped away for a few years, and came back hoping to have some fun with old friends. But it's clear that unless you devote all your time to this, you won't be getting anywhere. A thoroughly toxic community berates you for not understanding everything about every champ at all times in all game modes. It's largely sinister to returning or new players. I had a ton of fun a few years back, but I feel that my time away has put the game out of reach. I recommend it if all your friends play, or it's the only game in your life your a few months. Otherwise, expect hostility and malice.
