The Heap is a totally fantastic humorous story. Sean's imagination and wit shine through every situation that the residents of Los Verticales are faced with before the fall.
As the story unfolds, at any time, just picking up the book, I was tickled and moved by the fanciful, mad, funny and touching creations. From a voice throwing cartel, to Camper town diggers, to the renting of the parking lot under Los Verticales for late night randezvous, to the relationship "Orville" has with his brother (who is conducting a radio show in the ruins) and his friends working at "The Dig." Though fantastical, the relationships are those one sees in everyday life.
