Spoiler Alert!!!
Some people might say this movie is a combination of South East Asia Culture in one movie. I don't say like this. This is a fantasy. Fantasy is something new we created from something that already existed. Nothing comes out of nothing and something comes out of something. This is about a new world called Kumandra. In Star Wars. most of the aliens have two legs, two hands and one head. In Kumandra, most of the people have South East Asia culture. If you can see it that way, the movie will be better taste for you.
Character development?? The story made a time jump about 5 years. So, anything can happen during 5 years. Like Marvel's End Game. Raya became a very insecure person, had trust issues. She had a completely different personal with 5 years ago.
Who is Raya's mother? Main character is female, a woman. Right. What about her mother? The story does not say anything about that. Like How to Train Your Dragon, did they leave for Raya 2?
I honestly say this, at the scene of 4 dragons turn into stones, I kinda felt great sorrow even though they sacrificed for good and they will return into dragon at the end of the movie. Is it because of the song?
Is the story bad? The story does not make sense? Why did not dragons return in first place? Because of people's endless greed?
How could Raya's sword extend? I think the sword is made of a Dragon's spine. You see, in movie, dragon goes like a wave which might need a very flexible spine.
Why did Namaari aim Sissu? Didn't she decide to join Raya? If she has already decided to betray Raya again, she would tell her mother and come with an army. Isn't that obvious? Why did Raya think Namaari betray her? Oh, because of their past.
