I've been a post-apocalyptic/zombie fan since the 80s and was so excited that another series had come out in the genre I love. While the series is well put together (so far) I'm just so tired of having an alternative life-style rammed down my throat by the movie industry. I'm not homophobic, transphobic or ANY phobic (aside from venomous snakes and falling from heights lol). I truly don't care what anyone does...just be a good person and I'm 100% ok with that (although I do care if someone hurts someone intentionally, steals, lies, etc). That said, I'm so bummed that this series
( ie the writers, directors, casters, etc) felt the need to include (arguably)
3-10% of the population into the show. The probabillity factors of two gay men meeting like that are so statistically improbable as to be impossible...considering how many movies/tv shows now include alternative life-styles, it just feels like the percentage of movies/shows include a disproportionate number. And I'm really over it. Maybe I'm being unfair to give this review a 2 star based on the last episode, but I'm just a regular person and what I think, I think. I truly love my gay friends, but of all the friends I've respected and loved, they don't even comprise 2%. And I'm going to ask tomorrow if they disagree with me.
I am sure I will get tons of people who slam me for this review, just know I am an analytical and linear thinker who is beyond tired of the industry constantly/consistently including such a small percentage of the population into what seems the majority of movies/shows.
