A movie critique is simply someone's opinion. I'll read critiques not to see if a movie is good or bad. I read them.to see what made the critics like or dislike it.
With "Life, Itself", I have no clue what the critics found such major fault with.
Yes...it is filled with tragedy. Some over the top, unrealistic tragedy, in fact.
But guess what? Life works like that.
Just like Rigo's Mother tells him: life will knock you to your knees. Probably more often than we'd care for it to.
But we just need to get up.
That's what the movie is about. Life.
Wonderful and touching film.
