So so freaking scary. A lot of the terror of this film is due to the looming shadow of candyman who is always lurking in the shadows. It’s also a very dark film, literally some scenes are hard to make out, that add to the desolate feeling. The ending a complete, and I found myself feeling genuinely uneasy. Following its predecessors’ suit, this film does not lightly approach racial inequalities, so if you’re sensitive to the subject, this may not be the film for you. Overall, this film is amazing, the scares are genuine and the message is powerful. Loved the cast too, Abdul-Mateen is incredible!!!!!!!
