One of the most movingly and realistically rendered productions I’ve ever had the privilege of viewing....a stirring, heart-rending yet realistic portrait of impoverished childhood, awakening teen emotions as well as a stunning picture of 50’s Naples in all of its gritty splendor. As an Ivy League educated, second generation Italian-American, I was so moved by the feelings of Italian pride and American self-determination—in a way such contradictory feelings all brought out at the same time. You will NEVER invest your time more wisely than the time spent watching this multi-layered story unfold....a true masterpiece....guess you could say I liked it!!!
