Just came back to this after several months to read the “good parts”. Months ago when it first came out I started to watch the Netflix show but felt lost so I looked up how to read the novel. The fan translation did a pretty great job. The one criticism I have about it is that maybe someone who speaks English proficiently gave it a good editing so the sentences would make sense and the language would flow better. Other than that I am grateful for their immense hard work as this is a very long piece to take the time to translate. I highly recommend reading this if you at all got lost watching the Netflix. So much more detail and intimate scenes between the two protagonists will greatly satisfy your brain.
