I love this game. I'm about 135 stars in on a completionist run. Its just fun through and through. The improvements on the switch over the WiiU version are subtle but fantastic. Everything from the touch controls to the haptic feedback feels and functions great. Base game + bowser fury is going to last anywhere from 15-50 hrs depending on how many collectibles you go for and your general experience with Super Mario titles. This is one of the best ported 1st party games from the U to the switch so far. Multiplayer (local and online) works well and adds another layer of depth, replayability and will provide endless good times. Worth every penny. I highly recommend picking this one up.

This game is a spectacle. It's a showcase of what this generations consoles can render. Its Kojimas storytelling at it finest. It's not for anyone who wants to jump in and out for 20-30mins at a time. You have to traverse this world mostly on foot- tho vehicles come later (they're slow and not often the best way to travel). NUANCE is the them of this game. Everything from the way Sam needs to maintain balance "literal, not metaphorical balance), to the incredibly intricate inventory mgmt system, or even Sam's subtle reactions and emotion to characters he meets. THIS IS NOT A SHOOTER in any traditional sense. DO NOT buy this if you want a 3rd person shooter. This ain't it and you will have wasted your time. This is an immersive story, full of twists and turns. "Trekking" is the theme of the game. Take time to enjoy the scenery and the world Kojima gives you. Use stealth, craft weapons, challenge yourself to make the best grade deliveries you can. This is the best game I've played since God of War. What a strangely addictive and oddly satisfying game!

Great change if pace from the old gameplan. There are no gyms because the game takes place before humans and pokemon co exited peacefully. So instead of gyms to conquer, you have research to do for each poke to progress the story. The mechanics are great. Feels like less luck and more skill in catching now. Graphically is just "eh", but it's a switch game and no one plays switch games for graphical power. Campaig finished it about 23hrs. Pokedex and endgame completed at 59hrs. This is a great new gameplay formula and I hope it carries over into the next pokemon title.
