I thought it was great and the jokes made me laugh. As for the gore it is high on the scale but not an over the top gore-fest like piranha 3 d. There are blood splatters but the most gruesome things are only shown for a few seconds. The acting was done really well and the two main leads were very convincing. Overall i would recommend this and Blumhouse's other works.
