This is possibly possibly the worst movie based on a book I have ever seen. As a fan of the series, this film dashed my hopes of having a decent Artemis Fowl movie. The acting wasn't that great, the plot didn't even make sense. The only thing they kept from the books was the names of characters, and a few different parts from the books. There were scenes in the trailer that weren't even in the movie! I sat down on my couch expecting a decent movie, and instead got this pathetic excuse for a film. My biggest problem problem with the movie was Artemis himself. Disney completely ruined him. Instead of the criminal mastermind we know, he's a kid who just sits around reading his dad's diary and yelling random stuff like, "take the shot!" I suggest that instead of watching this movie, go sit down and read the series instead.
