Micheal Shannon is as always brilliant, but surely Werner Herzog could have put together a more competent supporting cast, Veronica Ferres must be the worst actress I've seen in a long time, wooden at times and ham at others. Her 'colleagues', are completely forgettable also, sharing the same traits as her. Other than that, nice scenery.
