Qween Rebekkah

This movie was dreadful. Cynthia was awful. I like her in SATC and even this new version on HBOMAX. I am questioning her acting skills after this movie. I guess Cynthia is playing Miranda like herself. Because her portrayal of Emily was just like Miranda’s. She’s pretty flat. The narrations of Emily’s poetry came off very flat as well. Just as dull, and dreary, and melancholy , and as dry as she acts. I like her in SATC. But she did Emily Dickinson no justice. Now Hailee Seinfeld does an amazing job and made me fall in love with Emily Dickinson and her poems. I am a poet myself and would much prefer a Hailee to a Cynthia when it comes to representing my work. That being said the entire script was terrible! The acting overall was torture to watch. I was committed to watching it all the way through and at times it felt like a punishment that would never end. The whole movie was a waste of money for whomever paid for it.
