I have to say I am disappointed. If you look at the first film, how it's paced, how the music was scored, how it didn't cater to an audience that can't hear an f bomb or 12, number two was a retread of jokes from the first film instead of making its own impact without relying on it. A bit of nostalgia is of course essential, but this film tried too hard to be funny, there was too much fluff, and not enough substance. The story was incredibly weak too, and that 'fish out of water' feel the first film had was not going to be relevant in this one, so I didn't really vibe on what the angle was they were going for. I watched the first one again after viewing the second and it made me even more mad that they bothered at all. I am never usually one to complain like this. There were a few good moments. Arsenio stole the show for me but the writing, pacing, and desperation of trying to force comedy really made this disappointing for me.
