Watching CNNHeroes is such a humbling experience. It is also heart-filling. At the same time, it makes me a little embarrased and ashamed that I don't take up the banner to do something impactful in my community. I guess I, like many others, tend to get swept up into our own lives, that we miss the big picture. Thank God for people like those CNN Heroes.
