Hmm. Well...what to say. I love Bowie and I love Maron. He is the reason I gave it a shot. I was aware of the mental illness story. I knew going in there were no Bowie hit songs included and not very accurate. I thought Johnny Flynn was pretty good as Bowie. Maron is always good. The wigs were ridiculous. The over use of "The dress" in every other scene was lazy. This part of his life is very interesting (what part ISN'T?) but should have been done with the permission of his family or not at all. To watch a movie about this man and not hear his music makes it just another drama. So I guess, if you forget it is supposed to be THE David Bowie, then it's...ok?
