The latest in the Jurassic saga is a fun 2 and a half hours whilst not perfect delivers dino thrills and Crichton spills. The original cast are the main draw here and they don't dissapoint. Of the JW characters only Bryce Dallas Howard's Claire and Maisie played by Isabelle Sermon shine. Chris Pratt's Owen Grady handles the action pieces well but not much else. New addition Kayla effectively played by DeWanda Wise provides humour and swagger when Jeff Goldblum is not on screen. There are some genuine moments of terror and suspense however one of the last lines uttered by a cast member is "lets finish this " and Dominion would be a worthy finish but I feel there's more to milk yet out of this franchise

Solid summer blockbuster entertainment. Better than the original. Flight scenes are incredible. Go see on Imax screen for full effect

The first and best in the series. Brian De Palma's direction brilliantly captures the noirish paranoia of a post cold war. The scenes are expertly handled most notably the films major set pieces. The CIA Headquarters vault sequence still holds up as one of the best heist sequences ever committed to film. The editing on the sequence is a masterclass. Danny Elfmans score is perfect for the film using all the right moods and motifs that is reminiscent of Lalo Schiffrin'so original music for the TV series
