I was blown away by the story, and the overall message I was left with... Andrew, Adam, and Liam filled their roles perfectly, and their performance was astonishing! The movie may have not gotten everything right, but I was hooked to the story and characters all the way through... What I loved was that the story wasn't one-sided, but rather made your hope for the priests dwindle bit by bit... and generally leading you down a path of dread and doubt, with the only words to describe it is "is this really worth it" and you get to see Sebastió's descent into madness, where at some points he's questioning his faith, feeling as if God has abandoned him. And the name "Silence" really has a deeper meaning too... I seriously recommend this movie to anyone interested in a drama that leaves you thinking for days on end after you've watched it...
