Dang, I was going to give this four stars for the few glitches I got and couple crashes (played on of xbox one), but that story. Just what I've been looking for in a game.
The voice acting really put it over the top. I really felt for these characters, and little me teared up a few times. The ending had me real choked up after I got on that bus and the credits played. It was a beautiful ride. A lot of work was obviously put into it and it really shows.
Anyway, gameplay is solid, graphics were lower on xbox one, but frame rate was solid. And loading was crazy fast! Just around 20 seconds to load a save, and jumping back into the game from another app was pretty much instantaneous.
The style is great in the game too. Really jumped into the Cyberpunk universe from Mike Pondsmith. And the lingo felt natural as well. Just wish there were more options to get fully chromed up and have your own silver hand.
Enemy ai feels a bit dumb at times, but still posed a challenge on hard if I wasn't careful. Especially in fist fights.
Overall, if you like Cyberpunk (especially the ttrpg Cyberpunk 2020, Cyberpunk Red, etc.), you'll like the game. Don't go in thinking it's the Messiah if video games come to revolutionize the industry, and you'll really enjoy it. Especially if you have a high end PC, or so I've heard.
I'd rate it 91/100 (a perfectly rational number to have a fear of) because of the few glitches I ran into and poor ai, but a lot was beyond my expectations. I would definitely recommend the game. It is well worth it.
