I think the findings are unlikely to be relevant in 2021 since the many changes that have come into schools regarding support for SEND and policy changes in 2014. Also the pressure on schools to raise standards is not proving to be compatible with high rates of inclusion in practical terms causing Academies to create separate SEND units within schools where they can. A new study would need to define more specifically what it meant by 'full inclusion' and to what extent each school in the study was genuinely inclusive.
