This show is terrible yet somehow addictive. It irks me because half of the storylines in here could be solved if only the characters put their own personal pride aside, which is ironic given they’re all supposedly church people. This show actually sheds a very negative light on the inner-workings of Protestant churches in America, making it all about power and money and very little about Jesus. A missed opportunity to convey the good true Faith can actually do, by simply buying in the clichès and tropes about all the sinful stuff that men get up to. Truly disappointed.
