Don’t get me wrong, this show is boring with a capital B, but I can’t stop watching it. The characters are complex and well acted, so they are able to transform a cheesy script into an endearing one. Although, the writing of the show lacks subtlety, it doesn’t lack imagination or dedication to its message. I think that New Amsterdam’s relevance to American society today is what is missing from other popular medical dramas.
