Enjoyed it in one sitting. Could have done without the occasional dramatic effects like falling backwards through the air at The Old Bailey and such like but overall was a decent watch and some good characters.

Good movie and there was a devotion to the song making of the 67-72 period that was great. A true focus on the songs as well with the incomparable Jennifer Hudson. Really good. Had me playing Aretha's back catalogue long into the evening.
