The Trunk is good entertainment for those who love thrillers. Even the slow-burn parts are enthralling. Eye Candy Gong Yoo (LM Train to Busan) pulls you in and doesn't let go. Not sure about the LF actress. She looks cold, dead and motionless. But that's what the script called for so in that respect, she did a good job. Quite good. We enjoyed it.

Actually, we're gonna give this 5 Stars for thrills and spills. But on paper---only 3. Raise your hand if you can't stand watching silly chicks saying, "I'm fine, I'm fine," with a black eye and busted lip, who never call the cops, and never fight back. No sympathy whatsoever for "cultural" fallout, nor fear of public humiliation. If that's what it's like over there, use it to your advantage. Post injuries on social media and show them to his co-workers. Haha. Watch how fast Lorean society destroys them. Update: The ending should've been written much better. Injury photos, medical reports, photos of her mother's bloody fingers and the drowned cat, should've been televised after their arrest. The mother-in-law should've been dealt with during a "fabulous televised speech"----with injury photos shot up on a huge JumboTron behind her---completing her utter humiliation. So much more could've been written in. Good actors and production. 10 Stars to them!

We'll give it 5 Stars ... for now. The tension is through the roof. But ... Ep. 3. She's starting to drive us nuts. Working overtime to betray her faithful, Eye Candy Sibling? While "coddling" Kiddie Porn Child Trafficker Dad ??? She better have a Kill Plan for dear old dad. Or we'll knock it down to 1 Star---if she carries on this way. We don't like friends betrayed. So ... the director / producers couldn't turn the girl into a half human half lobster monster ?? Maybe something grotesque like Demi Moore in "Substance" ?? Instead, they rolled out ... a giant lobster !! What ?? Who does that ??

Idris Alba as U.S. president? Yeah, right! He looks more like a jiggy, hybrid Rapper slash line backer. But if it ever really happens, rest assured our missiles will fail !! Why ?? Remember the Chinese military balloons "allowed" to fly directly over all our military bases? Look up the specific technology that can suck up any and all codes and encryptions---by aircraft simply flying overhead. Guess what president you can thank for that. And what ... no ending? You get 2 stars for that. Are you kidding me ??

I like it. Good entertainment and gore. Also interesting ... The "Dick Halloran" character appears in Derry---our beloved, Black clairevoyant of "The Shining." He's been written in as the young Airman in Derry, 1962. Nice plot twist, Mr. King. But Ep. 1 ... 3 kids torn to pieces in the theater? No news headlines? No screaming parents? No lockdowns? No townhall screaming at police? How could this be left out of the script? They're torn to bits and next day, everyone goes back to school. What ???

Top notch action. Slow burn stuff only first 20 minutes. After that, it's a relentless, wild ride. Best zombie production out of Asia since "All Of Us Are Dead." Worth your watch! But ... lots of stupid stuff too. No one calls 911 or the military---which the cops should've done! No one takes cell phone videos. No one alerts news channels! Cops from "the other town" don't come looking for their missing cops. Etc etc. Always remember ... In a zombie outbreak you cannot say, "Help! We're being attacked by zombies!" They'll hang up on you! You have to say ... "Active riot. Mass murder in progress!" They HAVE TO respond to that. ,">])

Season 1 & 2. Good script. Good tempo. Shocking moments. Season 3. Disappointing. Geopolitical shock and awe moments were totally buried under 4 separate, up close, interpersonal relationship conflicts that no one asked for. The Diplomat turned into a romance soap opera. Why?

If you love historical drama, this series is unparalleled to any other. However ... S4. Ep 2. Allowing us to watch as a magnificent stag stumbles "injured" across the countryside the entire hour----because they decided they want its head over the fireplace? Nope. Only 3 Stars. Just for that. (At least they could've shot it dead all in one go. Oh, but no! They had to let it suffer! And then enjoyed a lavish dinner party as it slowly bled to death. FU for that.)

So ... 2 idiot pot head losers palling around for 35 minutes before the Santa strikes? Really? And who thought that was even remotely interesting? That's 35 minutes we'll never get back. Losers !! Learn timing !!
