Excellent piece of writing from the TV presenter.. I will admit that I was skeptical but following the likes of Agatha Christie and those alike in the murder/investigator book genre. Osman has been very clever in that he uses modern day context including WhatsApp and Sainsbury's.. The whole plot is very cleverly done while entertaining the reader, it grips them to knowing more about the Thursday Murder Club and the endeavours of the parties involved. I will say that the quoted sentences pasted all over the cover does not reflect the read.. they're some small humourous parts but nothing hilarious. That being said its eloquently British charm does well to prove a strong contender in its genre
