If you had any doubts about the treasonous motivations, criminal pursuits of Trump, and accomplices within Congress and his administration...this film will put all that to rest. Unless you are a MAGA Trump supporter then just never mind...you folks are impenetrable to truth, reason, and sense. This is the most interesting, well-constructed documentation of Putin's rise to power, our best minds and analytical experts describing the forces around that rise, and how it all related to Trump as he lay at the bottom of his financial empirical heap...until oligarchs came to the rescue. You need to watch "Active Measures" if you still care about this country since the Trump aggression/overthrow attempt isn't complete yet.

With a little work, some hard writing improvements, better plot improvements...it could, in a short time, be the next "Under the Dome, Zoo, or possibly even Manifest. Sad...because some of these cast members are good.

My wife and I both liked this show and would like to see the 2nd season. There are many loose ends to be tied up, a grieving husband, two kids, a corrupt police force, a murderer with ties to higher-ups on the force and beyond, a children's orphanage used as a cultivation source for criminal enterprises, a father who himself guilty in a scandal...or not, and Veronica's freedom to exact revenge for all the victims and most of all...herself. You bet I want to see more!

The original film holds up as a fright builder that keeps you guessing not just when and how the killer will enter the house to kill the babysitter ( young & vulnerable Carol Kane) but will the police arrive in time to save her in response to the calls she's made to help her? A suspense film that is early in its format, builds tension and creates a human monster that we can all relate to from many headlines since 1979 when this was made. Charles Durning gives a brilliant performance as an aging veteran retired detective wrestling with his "monster"...now released, on the prowl who must be stopped. "Stranger" is an original that has rarely been matched or surpassed in the terror it creates.
